From the first moment, you made paw prints on our hearts. It's funny, I think God made sure we couldn't leave after having come to see you. The car was running fine up until we went to leave. Well, your future mommy had to come pick up Kevin and I, and she wound up meeting you as well. It was love at first sight for all of us. Without that who knows what would have happened.

I always smile when I think of the first moments with you. Getting a tongue bath of epic proportions. You gave us a love and affection that we looked forward to each day. You got me through a pretty hard time in my life, helping me make a transition that without you would have been very difficult.

We will forever miss you, buddy. We gave you the best life we could while you were with us. Loving, playful, and happy are the only words I can find to describe you best.
